In the UK, there’s a big issue of avoidance when it comes to reacting to horrific events and a push to categorise them as America’s ongoing issues. This very much occurs worldwide, black people and other ethnic minorities are dying at the hands of white police officers. Your discomfort can’t explain it away. Racism, underfunding and police brutality aren’t exclusive to the US so here are some initiatives and charitable funds to combat these issues!
